Job title: Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)
Job duties:
- Testing the Microservices and building test cases to run on each deployment.
- Perform automated web services testing for both REST and SOAP based API also worked with Java APIs using REST Assured.
- Perform Data-Driven testing by developing a Java based library to read test data from Excel or CSV & Properties files and database as data source.
- Involve in setting up projects in Jenkins to automate the Unit Test, define the Test coverage and other code quality
- Work with JMeter to perform performance testing of the microservices.
- Use SOAPUI, POSTMAN and REST Assured to test the SOAP and Rest based web services.
- Strategizing and implementation of the test framework for the complete lifecycle of the project.
- Responsible for the build validation process on an ongoing basis
- Validate the data written in the Cassandra DB while testing the Microservices and MongoDB for UI Data.
- Participate in testing activities, in collaboration with the development and production teams, to ensure satisfactory performance of end-user reporting.
- Work with Bit Bucket and Git Lab to maintain the version control of the project being implemented and refactored to the arising specific needs
- Utilize JIRA to track the Stories, Bugs, Features Implementation.
- Work with QTest to record the test cases and test suites.
- Work with Pivotal Cloud Foundry to analyze Logs of the deployed services to debug the errors and also maintain their stability
- Utilize Rabbit MQ for Sending data manually through the queues to imitate producers for manual testing of listener services.
- Work on capturing specific transaction logs for debugging and capturing the request responses while 3rd party clients are involved using Splunk.

Degree Requirement:
This is a professional position, and as such, we require a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, information technology, or a combination of education and experience equating to the U.S. equivalent of a Bachelor’s degree in one of the aforementioned subjects.
