The engineering team is driving the digital transformation of client trustworthy computing strategy and building data and artificial intelligence services to help make the Company’s products and services secure and compliant with industry standards and policy requirements. 
We are responsible for delivering Liquid, an (internal) data-centric cloud service that manages multiple terabytes of data and infuses artificial intelligence to support compliance and risk decision making across the Company, particularly focused this year on the security of all client products and services. 
Our focus is companywide, so we partner broadly with engineering teams, compliance and risk managers, and corporate leadership. 
The demand for our services continues to increase, as does the volume and complexity of the work required to deliver, so we’re looking for great people to join the team. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to be part of the core software engineering team for Liquid. In this role, you’ll work with a range of fun, modern cloud and data-centric technologies — Azure app services (e.g., Azure Functions), and data systems (e.g., Kusto, Azure Data Lake and Data Factory, SQL Azure). You’ll have plenty of mobility across these areas so you can shine where you’re already strong but learn in new areas as well.

Responsibilities 
Build and maintain features of our service using Azure technologies with a focus on Azure big data-based data processing
Full engagement in agile-based software development • Work with peers across disciplines to deliver maximum innovation and impact

Qualifications 
Computer Science degree or demonstrable equivalent experience 
5+ years’ experience as a software engineer, developing and shipping software with ALL of the following 
Implement and deliver quality features 
Using C#, .NET, Azure Data factory and/or Azure Data lake
Developing data models in big data systems like Data lake or Kusto
Strong analytical mindset and good communication skills
Demonstrated ability to collaborate well, both technically and interpersonally

Responsibilities:

  • Build the automation on top of Azure subscriptions to audit access at subscription, resource group, and resource level, generating consolidated reports in Power BI with ability to filter at individual account.
  • Based on membership of specific Azure Active Directory security group get list of AAD Apps and identify for those the expiration of their secrets and generate proactive Azure alert for secrets close to expiration.
  • Develop and improve the tools and services to necessary to support the DevOps model and eliminate manual work through automation.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding, or equivalent practical experience 
  • Familiarity with common software design principles
  • 3+ years of relevant software design and development in C#
  • 3+ years of relevant software design and development in PowerShell 
  • Strong experience with Azure stack and automaton of Azure platform
